That I'm always in need of money is nothing new. However, the problem has gotten serious, mostly because I need to move, and moving requires lots of money here in Japan due to all the stupid deposit and random fees you have to pay when you make the contract. Also, I won't just blame the world because of this, since it's also my fault for wasting so much money in doujinshi and other T&B-related stuff. But you know, I live in Japan because I like it and, most importantly, because all my hobbies are here, and what's the point of being here if I cannot pursue my hobbies? In other words, I don't want to stop buying crap because I need money, especially if there are other solutions, as suicidal as they might seem.
This is to say that well, after much thinking, last month I finally decided that my plans needed to be acted out (it's easy to say "I'll do this and that", but then you must actually do it...), so I started looking for a part-time job. I thought about many things, but in the end I sadly decided that I should try with... conbini. Why?
( Cut because it's long, read at your own risk, lol )

Every day I'm like, "I kinda wanna post an entry..." but then it's already night and I have to go to bed or do something else that might be more productive than posting a LJ entry >_>
Work has actually been going fine. All the major troubles I had were solved one way or the other, I'm actually kind of happy of the way I was able to deal with everything, especially new things I'm still not used to.
Of course I still get randomly bitched at by the usual people, especially my hysterical colleague who seriously has no idea what "common sense" and "logic" mean... But I guess that makes her hopeless so I'm usually just "yeah yeah I understand, I'm sorry".
Today for the first time I went to a meeting outside of the office alone. It was at a warehouse in a place near Shinagawa where it's just containers, warehouses and more containers, so it was kind of annoying to get there, especially because the taxi driver didn't want to use the navi despite me knowing the address and kept on going the wrong way >_> But yeah, it was kinda refreshing after spending your days sitting on a chair in front of a computer.
Speaking about the place near Shinagawa, it's also close to a bit uhm, warehouse-like building? called Tokyo Ryuutsuu Center, which is also used for congresses and other events like for example... doujinshi events, lol. And I just happened to go to one there on Sunday Jan. 15th, lol XD
I don't think I need to specify that it was a Tiger & Bunny only event, but maybe I do need to specify that it was a KoteBunny only 8D I was looking forward to it, and though my expectations risked being crushed by the seriously DISTURBING amount of circles who did Kotetsu x female!Barnaby, in the end I was able to buy lots of stuff, even more than I was expecting. Thanks Pixiv for enabling me to check on the circles beforehand anyway, so I already knew what to avoid >_>
Another happy thing that happened to me is that I finally met my friend S. again! She used to be my "everyday life" tutor in Tsukuba, and though I did know that she likes manga and anime, I didn't know she was actually a fujoshi too until we casually met at a Tiger & Bunny only event in November, lmao (GO NEXT! 2 in Ikebukuro). She's a really nice person, but I haven't had much time to meet people in the last uhm.. one year? And I always feel bad messaging people if then I don't have time to actually meet them. But yeah, after realizing that we'd both gotten into T&B I just HAD to talk to her, lol.
Actually, it's also the first time that I get to physically speak with another T&B fan DX Everyone says it's popular (though well, it's HUGELY popular here in Japan but it doesn't seem to be as much in the western world), yet I basically only know 3 other people who really like it, and they're all Italian but I don't really talk to them a lot, so yeah... For the first time I could actually fangirl with someone!! 8D (So far it's been me and my doujinshi, lol)
We met on Sunday evening in Shibuya and we spent 4 hours at Saizeriya fangirling shamelessly X°D (I think one of the guys sitting at the table next to us heard some of the things we said, because I noticed he was kinda glimpsing at us, lmao) It's also the first time I talked about fandom/pairing stuff in Japanese, it was fun :D I've used all those words a lot on the net, but never said it out loud so it was a new experience, lol. (S. is Japanese, so yeah)
Anyway, pretty random and useless post, but at least I posted something. Yeaaah 8D
Now of course it's late so I'll go back to reading some doujinshi before going to bed (I still haven't finished the one from GO NEXT! 2 and haven't even started the Winter Comiket ones yet... Too many books and too little time, lol).

I probably wouldn't mind rewatching the series over and over again, if it were one episode a week (there would be 25 weeks between one episode and its next airing, so maybe I wouldn't even get bored!), lol. One day I also want to see the Blu-ray version with all the fixes, but uhm, there is a very small problem... I don't have a Blu-ray player. Hohoho. Still, I'm buying the Blu-rays (well, I have 3, more will come whenever I have money OTL). Funny, isn't it?
Anyway, today I had kind of a shitty day. I worked hard from the morning to 8 pm, but that's not even the main problem. You know, in the end you leave the office feeling like you did your job well, and go home. But today, just when I was about to leave, I somehow realized that I had forgotten to request the customs clearing and delivery for one shipment, that arrived on the 28th and is (was?) supposed to be delivered on the 12th, which is in two days..... Now, unless a miracle happens, that won't be possible and I'll have to contact the customer again to change the date. And this is also our biggest customer. In other words, FAILZ. (Well, you might wonder why they made ME in charge of our biggest customer, even though I've only been a regular employee since November. The answer is: because its shipments are just so many and time-consuming to follow, of course -_-'')
So yeah, in other words I went home feeling really bad because of that mistake (which by the way, I'm not trying to say it's not my fault, but it was caused by the customer using a wrong reference number in the email subject), and this didn't make my very busy day any better. I'm also kinda scared of what they'll tell me tomorrow at work, I hope they don't bitch too much, luckily the person who will probably reproach me isn't one of the bitchy ones. It's really frustrating when you're already feeling like shit on your own because of your mistake and people just have to make it worse by lecturing you.
Oh well, to try and cheer myself up I'll fangirl a little about T&B, since I just watched the rerun of episode 15 on Tokyo MX and it's maybe one of my favorites (well, seriously, all the episodes are so brilliantly made that it's hard to find one that I wouldn't deem "one of my favorites").
( Pointless fangirling under the cut, read at your own risk )
Seriously, I could go on raving about this forever... But since it's almost 2 am I think it's about time that I go to bed, lol. I should've gone about 1 hour (or at least 30 minutes) ago, but now that I wrote this randomness I kinda feel more pleased with myself and my head is full of happy/angsty thoughts that will keep me company as I fall asleep, so I feel like this wasn't *completely* useless 8D
Oh well, goodnight. I hope tomorrow (well, today) I can leave the office before 19:00, or well, at least before 20:00..... -_- (And I also hope I won't make any more stupid mistakes) *goes back to pondering over T&B*

Incredibly enough, today I worked hard and managed to complete the first part of the translation of Katsura's artbook @_@ Blocks of texts are so much harder than manga dialogues... They need a lot of tweaking and rearranging to make them sound nice in another language.
The "first part" is basically the second section of the artbook, the one called "Masakazu Katsura X HEROES", plus the introduction to the first section which would be the color version of the one-shot comic. I of course didn't translate the comic itself, since someone else already did it (be it in color or not), but I figured I should translate the page that comes before it, with the introductory text and Nishida's comment.
Now, I don't have scans of the artbook myself (I own the actual book), so I'm only posting the translations of the main blocks of text and not the small writings specifying colors and stuff next to the designs, because it's kind of pointless unless you have the actual pictures in front of you. If someone has a link to scans of the artbook I can include the extra translations as well... (I do suggest that you buy it if you're a fan :p) Well actually, if someone has the scans I might even scanlate the book, I think it's feasible. This of course doesn't mean you shouldn't buy it, duh :p
All my notes are in square brackets, the rest is all stuff that was there originally.
Of course the notes in round brackets specifying where the text was are also mine.
Translations of the rest will follow whenever I have time >_>
The third section shouldn't be too time-consuming to do because it's mostly short descriptions, but on the other hand it's also not very interesting unless you have the actual pictures in front of you (the section I'm posting today is fairly enjoyable even without pictures, I reckon).
Oh well, on to the actual translation. I hope that you like it :)
( First section - TIGER & BUNNY EYES (Intro to the one-shot) )
( Second section - Masakazu Katsura x HEROES )
And this is all so far!
Hopefully I can add more soon, or well, relatively soon >_>
I hope you enjoyed it and/or you found it interestng :D (I surely did when I read it XD)
Comments are welcome not to mention appreciated :)

Happy new year! XD Though 9 days have passed already.
I do tend to disappear every once in a while, it's no news... But once again I thought I should take a different approach at life. I mean, as of now I'm quite a lot busy in many ways, but still, I think I should try to kick some willpower out of my body and do more. I get home tired, I can't do anything because I'm tired, and I go to bed feeling frustrated because I didn't accomplish anything. If I could accomplish something before going to bed I feel like I would feel less stressed too. But to do this I need to be a little less tired, and I guess it's about time that I start going to bed earlier than 2 am, because that just makes me feel like a zombie everyday and especially at the end of the week...
Oh well, that was just some random thoughts, I have the feeling that if I write it down then I'll feel somehow obliged to actually do it, lol. Today it worked 8D Yesterday I wrote a list of things I absolutely wanted to do today (it's a national holiday so I'm home), and guess what, I actually did them all!! You know, when it's there written in everybody's face you feel like if you don't do it you lost to yourself, and I don't like losing, so yeah... I guess I should do it more often 8D
All I've been doing during December is being a zombie, being in love with Tiger & Bunny, and uhm, what else? Reading doujinshi might fit the second thing I just said so I'm not sure it counts. I'm also reading Fairy Tail because of uhm, various reasons. It's not bad, I mean, it's OK, nothing I would love but it's easy to read. I'm up to volume 10, not even halfway through, but I only read it on the trains to work so yeah.
I've been to Comiket and oh god, that was so tiring. I got back home dead and carrying 17 kgs of books in 4 bags... >_>; Yeah, I'm not joking, I weighed that stuff... I've never been in such a huge fandom, it's bad for my health and for my wealth I swear. Well worse for my wealth, lol. I make my "to buy" lists very carefully before events, but still I end up buying a lot of stuff because there just IS so much stuff... I've also been positively surprised to find so so many nice books, with really cute stories. Of course there are also quite a few I didn't really like. One day I'll probably make a fangirlrantmoepost or whatever about T&B doujinshi, if you don't like the topic feel free to skip it whenever this happens 8D
I'm also still following the reruns on Tokyo MX and every time it's, well, not like the first time, but it's amazing how interesting it still is to rewatch the episodes. Also, I admit I only started to like BL (well, "BL"... just one couple, lol) in this series around ep 17-19, so I kind of see past eps in a different light, lol. Actually, I'm currently wondering how it took me so long, but it's probably because I usually never look for BL in anime unless it's blatant, and I'm used to all the fanservice winking at fans, so I just shrug at most of it and ignore it. Unless it's, yeah, blatant. Now I even have trouble remembering my feelings when I originally watched the first 13 episodes or so 8D;
Oh well, let's see if my "different approach at life" works, this time... I'll try my best not to go to bed later than 1 am.
Also, one of the things I accomplished today is the translation of one chapter of Katsura's artbook, so I'll just post it before going to bed. Hopefully I can translate the rest too >_> I actually started it one month ago and then put it on hiatus and finished it today, so you see, if I feel like it and have time I can actually do it. But it's hard when I get home tired at 8pm and only have 4-5 hours left to do anything I want...

At last...! 8D
Seriously, this took SO long. Remind me not to translate talk shows ever again DX You know, in anime, drama and movies they actually talk pretty slowly and, most importantly, they rarely talk over each other. But in talk shows they just blabber whatever goes through their minds, they speak fast and all over each other, so you can have something like 15 lines said in 5-10 seconds DX And you have to listen to the same bits over and over to catch all the lines @_@
But anyway, here it is. Actually, in the beginning I only planned to summarize it, but when I tried to I realized that all the amusing parts would get lost if you didn't translate every single line, so I eventually did just that. It took me 4 days, well, nights, since I have work in the day >_> I hope you will like it 8D
I summarized the start and the very end, the rest is an almost 100% complete translation of every single thing they said. I only left out a few useless things like when they randomly say "hai" (yes) just to mean that they're listening to what the other person is saying, or when they're talking all over each other and some things get lost in the mess (luckily I could make out most of it).
It might be a bit messy to follow here and there, but that's how they're speaking so blame them, not me, lol. All the things in brackets are my comments, I mostly added them to clear some thing up that might be ambiguous, especially if you're not watching the movie.
As for the movie, unfortunately it was only available for viewing until Nov 29th at 11pm Japanese time, so it's not around anymore :/ I actually was able to download the .flv file from Ustream, but for some reason my VLC (that can usually play FLV files fine) won't play the video but only the audio, and a bit distorted >_>
I uploaded it on MegaUpload, if any of you is able to convert it into something readable/viewable I'll be very grateful (and everyone else will be too I guess) >_<
Here's the link.
And now, on to the actual translation! (warning: it's lonnnng and it might damage your brain 8D)
A last note: I left a few spaces between the dialogues, but they're not actually pausing or anything, I just tried to divide the conversation topics so that it's a little easier to read.

Today I went to Kimeru's 10th anniversary live "DECADE"! :D
As usual, I had lots of fun and jumped around from the very beginning to the very end! XD
I went to the Tokyo show of his tour this summer, and I also went to see Lipsynca once, but somehow I kinda lost the "mood" recently because I haven't had time to read his blog and I admit I've never even watched his Nico-Nico program even though it's been around for almost a year >_>; So yeah, before getting to the live hall I didn't really feel excited, but of course, as I expected, as soon as it started I just got into it as usual XD
Anyway, it was much fun, I jumped a lot and sang a lot and yelled a lot, lol. I wonder if I'll get muscular pain tomorrow, not sure, but my voice got pretty low, I sound like a transvestite 8D
Kimeru was nice as usual, I have the impression that maybe he didn't sing as many song as in the other lives, but that might be because the MC parts were quite long. He spoke a lot about the fanletters he received, also exposing the contents of some of them (I wonder what the people who wrote them thought about that, lol). He said that some people write him letters every few days, that some take a month to write a single letter, and other things. That's kinda scary @_@ But maybe I just think so because I have a different approach to fanletters. I would never write just to talk about my personal issues or my everyday life >_>
It was amusing when Yossi and Taku-chan imitated him behind his back, lmao. Whoever has been to Kimeru's lives knows that his movements are not really manly, especially during MCs, and they were imitating that X°DDD
As for the songs, he sang mostly upbeat ones. Well, maybe the only one that wasn't is LETTER, that he did because of the sentimental value. There was a "single medley" towards the beginning, where he sang parts of songs that he released as singles. He only sang two songs from his last two albums (I mean the last 2 ones before the self-cover ones), MOON BUTTERFLY from anatomize (during the medley, so not in full) and Yes! elephant from DISCOVER as the last one. The rest were mostly songs from his earlier albums. He also played the new song from CASTOR, I think it's called Paradox, and I really liked! I still haven't been able to buy CASTOR because I have no money, but I will eventually, it's not like it disappears anyway >_>
Well then, it's already late so I better post the translation I finished checking today (the talk show one, nothing related to Kime XD;) @_@
As usual, I had lots of fun and jumped around from the very beginning to the very end! XD

I've actually been working on translations during the past 2 days (well, whenever I had time, so in the evening/night). I wanted to summarize the talk show from Tamashii Nation, but when I started I realized that it wasn't half as amusing unless you actually translated all or most of the lines... So I started doing just that.
I had seriously forgotten how long it takes to translate free talks... You know, when it's anime it's different, because characters rarely talk over each other, they speak more slowly and, most importantly, their dialogues always make sense together. But in free talks, especially when it's more than 2 people, they tend to talk over each other, to say random things and nonsense, to repeat the same things randomly... And also, to say "hai" a lot, lol. You know, normally "hai" just means "yes", but it can also be "ok", and actually it can also be used in a variety of situations, even just to acknowledge that you're listening to what the other person is saying, to request their attention, to agree with their opinion and so on. That's why I actually left out most of the "hai", since they're just random 8D But yeah except for that it's almost a "perfect" script ("perfect" as in "full translation"), so of course it takes hella long.
40 minutes.. It doesn't seem *that* long if you just listen to it, but if you're actually translating it it's just never-ending DX But it's really amusing so I'm having fun, even though it's stealing my sleep hours. I hope I'll be able to finish within tonight. The only sad thing is that the broadcast finished yesterday night, so it's not available for viewing anymore :( I was able to download the .flv file, but none of my apps can read it. VLC can read its audio (though it sounds a bit distorted), but not the video. I wonder if someone else managed to save it or knows how to convert this .flv into something readable.. But I guess I'll advertise this on the community. (I still have the file open, that's why I'm still able to translate)
Anyway, just a random and useless update, also because I'm striving to post more, so even if it's useless at least I made my post and I don't lose the habit 8D I hope next time I post I'll be able to share the above-mentioned translation :D

Ok, after yesterday's random life post, let's get back to business, aka what this LJ is originally meant for, aka fangirling writing about anime stuff.
Today I went to Tamashii Nation (the action figures expo by Bandai) and the Tiger & Bunny special expo within Tokyo Anime Center. I'm going to write a review of what I've seen. Unfortunately you couldn't take pictures inside Tamashii Nation, so I only have a few of the other expo >_< They posted a few pics on the official TB twitter though, hopefully they will post more in the future because there's a bunch of stuff that really deserves to be seen :3
( Tamashii Nation report )
( Tokyo Anime Center expo )
Annnnd this is all. I made the mistake of starting this post around 1am, and now it's almost 3... *failz* I'd better go to bed because I have work tomorrow DX Hope you enjoyed the post, sorry if it's confusing, I didn't really think of organizing it better @_@
PS: I also watched the rerun of the special talk show that they had today at Tamashii Nation, with Hirata, Morita and Inoue. All I can say is LMAO. I was eating a tangerine and almost choked on it a few times because they just cracked me up. Inoue is a genius in his own way X°D If anyone's interested I can summarize what they said in the talk show, but of course not now 8D
See ya~.

Hello guys.
After almost 2 years I suddenly decided to revive my LiveJournal. It’s a pretty abrupt decision, and knowing myself I can’t assure that I will actually keep it up, but I guess I can give it a try.
The title is the translation of an Italian saying, “chi non muore si rivede”. I felt it was fitting.

One of the reasons I decided to revive my LJ is that in the past I really used to do lots of translations, and it’s ironic that now that my Japanese is even better and so I’m supposed to be also faster when translating I’m actually doing nothing of the kind. I’ve encountered people’s ungratefulness over and over, but I still feel like I should do something. Well, I do like translating, I just need more time to get into the mood and get around to concretely doing it. There are so many things I’d like to translate... So I hope that writing a LiveJournal will get me in the mood of “writing” more, though mine is just a feeble hope.
I’ll apologize to all the people who wrote to me here or asked about my doujinshi sales. I’m sorry for not replying, I just haven’t used LJ at all and all the doujinshi I have listed in my already existing sales are in boxes in a warehouse that I can’t currently access, so I cannot sell them for at least another 2-3 months. I do plan on putting up a new sale shortly to sell some old Prince of Tennis doujinshi I had in Italy and some T&B djs I got hold of recently. (Also because I need money OTL)
Ok, I managed to write this one. Now let’s see how long I manage to keep it up without disappearing again... I’m not very confident but I will at least try. Also, I usually don’t really make overly personal posts, but I think many of my real life friends don’t really know what I’ve been doing since last year, especially after the employment offer, because I’ve been a bit secretive on the net, so I thought it would be a nice chance to update everybody (well mostly the ones who are interested) on my current situation.
Well then, see ya?
